November 10, 2022

There are some mornings when only water will do. This was one of those mornings. So there was no doubt in my mind, my morning walk was all about getting to Portobello. With the sun rising, it felt like the mood changed every other minute. Which was fine as I wasn’t in any hurry. It … More Morning Walk: Portobello, Edinburgh

When Edinburgh Fringe is over

November 9, 2022

During the August, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, I was asked many times what the city was like when the festival is over. Before I could answer, the question was usually immediately followed with: Edinburgh must be a ghost town when all this is done I just shook my head and smiled. So on a sunny October … More When Edinburgh Fringe is over

Sunset in Leith, Edinburgh

I did a short walk yesterday around Leith Links and The Shore. As the sun was setting, I whipped out my phone to take a few quick shots. I loved the play on the clouds at the Links. The reflection at The Shore did not disappoint even though it started to rain. 🙌🏾 It was … More Sunset in Leith, Edinburgh

Autumn at Dalkeith Country Park

October 30, 2022

Yesterday I did a group walk at Dalkeith Country Park. I love the colours this time of year. Now, having lived in Canada for quite some time, the Canadian Fall this time of year is quite spectacular. What to Expect

Since sharing my photos for the past couple of years, many have asked about my services. Frankly, I have been sharing my photos for the love and passion for this Bonnie land, Scotland. I intend to continue to do so for as long as I can. However, it is a new year and with so many requests for other services, I thought I would launch this site to support that.
I will share random findings, thoughts and stories as part of this blog.
I will also share future prints of my photos and recommend services on this site. as requested by my audience. I look forward to this journey as we continue to discover Scottish pearls together.
