Corrieshalloch Gorge, The Highlands

November 10, 2022

We continued our journey north, well north-west. I marvelled at the mountains that graced our journey. Anyone who states that Scotland is just a drab dreary place clearly has never made the trip here. As we drove, I was glued to the window, mesmerised by what I saw. It was pure eye-candy. Although we were … More Corrieshalloch Gorge, The Highlands

It was raining outside but we were merry inside! We continued our drive north and decided to make a stop at the Loch Maree Islands! I looked up a little information about the islands. Perhaps not the best of weather to be driving but what the heck! We went anyway. We were on our way to Ullapool, again weather permitting! Gairloch, The Highlands

November 4, 2022

My trip north meant getting to Ullapool. On our way, we made a quick stop at Gairloch. Gairloch means “Short Loch” in Gaelic. It is a small village on the shores of Loch Gairloch in Wester Ross, in the North-West Highlands. It’s a popular summer destination but at the end of September, there are very … More Gairloch, The Highlands

Autumn at Dalkeith Country Park

October 30, 2022

Yesterday I did a group walk at Dalkeith Country Park. I love the colours this time of year. Now, having lived in Canada for quite some time, the Canadian Fall this time of year is quite spectacular. So I find myself in need of a dose of autumn shades. The colours at Dalkeith are not … More Autumn at Dalkeith Country Park

Hidden Edinburgh: Dunbar’s Close Garden

October 28, 2022

The Royal Mile is definitely one of the most busiest streets in Edinburgh. It is an area of historic attractions, entertainment, musicians and countless restaurants and bars. So to find a quiet sanctuary for a few minutes to decompress is a true gem. This is Dunbar’s Close Garden. Recently as I walked along the Royal … More Hidden Edinburgh: Dunbar’s Close Garden

What to Expect

Since sharing my photos for the past couple of years, many have asked about my services. Frankly, I have been sharing my photos for the love and passion for this Bonnie land, Scotland. I intend to continue to do so for as long as I can. However, it is a new year and with so many requests for other services, I thought I would launch this site to support that.
I will share random findings, thoughts and stories as part of this blog.
I will also share future prints of my photos and recommend services on this site. as requested by my audience. I look forward to this journey as we continue to discover Scottish pearls together.
